- Mercy was out of the question but when he finally had you where he wanted you, you couldn’t help but hope. You couldn't help but wish for someone to look at you with some kind of pity or understanding and just see that you never wanted this.
But mercy didn't exist. And you of all people knew that.

looked at it in a similar way when i finished the second game. its sad they couldn't have given alex the character development and ending that he deserved. only good thing about this is at least the games title continues to make sense. lets just hope their are some more runners introduced in the future to make a more colorful cast of characters to play as. AND WHERE THE HELL WAS PARIAH!!!!?
