so if you watched the Ace Attorney anime, you’ll see that flashback from when Phoenix and Edgeworth were kids

he remembers the friendship charm he and Edgeworth had for over 15 years, and there’s a scene of him returning the charm to Edgeworth after he dropped it, and he’s like “Miles, we’re gonna be friends forever”

and then Edgeworth/Miles starts crying

it’s so adorable but sad

so I was talking about this scene with my friend and we were like “why did they just shake hands after?? wouldn’t it be cute if they hugged or something?” so I drew them hugging instead

i love this so much it’s adorable aaaa
edit: i made the background a bit darker since it felt a bit underwhelming
also ignore Phoenix’s hand, i’m incapable of drawing them :’D
