in spanish, Caballo means horse, but the nahuatl language adopt the word as "cahuayo" at the time due to weird spanish mispronunciations (the spanish at that time use to mix the "v" with "b" and spell it as "u", and the "ll" still now sounds as "y").
about the pre hispanic thing, the aztec empire lived along the spanish about 3 of four years after the Cortes arriving, and even there were great battles with the united peoples trying to stop them, (in fact, the spanish just took advantage of the hate against the aztecs to confront the empire's inner peoples).
So, the word "cahuayo" can be take it as still a prehispanic word, because was used before the real fall of the empire, at the Battle of Mixton (the last battle of the holy war called by the northern priests to defend the land).
there is even a codex where Pedro de Alvarado dies under his horse and Francisco Tenmaxtle face in battle the viceroy Mendoza. The stronghold used to be near my town, on the mountains.

Then that someone is high. Celestia does rise and lower the sun and Luna does that with the Moon, but no one worships them IRL and in the show they're seen as simple royalty. And I think Christianity has a decent number of piles of dead on its own, so no it's not "worse than all the world's religions combined" (besides, I can't recall the last time someone suicide-bombed themselves because they weren't bronies). If you hate MLP that's cool, but don't go forcing people to delete fanart just because you don't like it.

That's why I'm telling to get rid of this Pony religious pic. Pony religion in now only a lesser cult, But I fear with encouragement it's only a matter time before they do start bombing people; becoming a new religion just as bad if not worse than any other.
