I experimented with traditional comic page layout and quite liked the outcome. The changed layout is partly for school assignment and partly for the poll results. I thought that long vertical strip format is getting more popular, but maybe only in Asian communities. I can update more frequently with these pages, but the story will be broken up into smaller fragments. I'm a newbie in making webcomics, so let me know your thoughts! More coming soon because I did 3 pages in a row.

About Plastic bag tax/levy
Many countries have implemented (or are planning to) plastic bag taxes to reduce plastic bag waste. There was a significant reduction in plastic bag waste at first, but research shows a "rebound effect" after several years, and the amount of plastic bag waste returns to previous levels. Shops also made use of loopholes in the scheme, distributing handle-free plastic bags to customers for convenience. A plastic bag levy was introduced in Hong Kong in 2009, but it's not much effective today. The public dumped 4.4 billion plastic bags - only a fraction less than before the levy was imposed.

So glad to see an update. Pleased as always with your story telling and art. I would like to point out one grammatical error in the first panel though. "I have always disliked them anyway," should be "I have always disliked it anyway," since plastic isn't plural in the previous sentence.

Our county has been trying to get a plastic bag ban for ages. Yet it seems to keep being delayed year after year. I agree that I'm sick of it too. I feel like bags shouldn't even be necessary. Just unload your cart/basket into your car item by item. I can see how it would be inconvenient to bring in groceries item by item if you lived in an apartment of course. However in our area there aren't really any apartment buildings, meaning your car is only a short walk from your kitchen.

Thank you so much for commenting and proof reading! I've updated the file. English is not my mother language, and I wish I could express myself better when writing the script.

I like to visit supermarkets when I travel to other countries, and it is very convenient when people travel by car. I agree that plastic bags are not  necessary for such a short distance...baskets or grocery bags are much more durable.
