Fun Fact: Carl Jung, who coined the terms "introvert" and "extravert" (he spelled it "extra" instead of "extro") was, himself, an introvert.
According to the "Big 5," I'm an extrovert, but according to all other personality evaluation systems I've tried (MBTI, 16 Personalities, Socionics, Enneagram, etc.), I'm an introvert. The Big 5 doesn't define those terms in the original Jungian/cognitive sense and instead uses the "modern" concept of how they're more typically used (or misused depending on how you look at it).
I'm from Indiana, USA, and we're generally perceived as being extroverted in a laid-back or fun-loving way - kind of like Vash from Trigun.

I'm an introvert person, I think. I'm from Romania.
About the national animal, do you mean about the animal that is present on the national emblem? I don't really know... but it looks like this: www.worldwideromania.com/wp-co… [plus the smaller 5 emblems represent the smaller Romanian countries/regions before they united: Wallachia, Moldavia, Oltenia + Banat, Transylvania and Dobruja (well, it feels like there is a newer version of that emblem: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia… )] OK, it was just to satisfy the curiosity about how the emblem looks like.

I have that same mixed introvert-extrovert trait, Bonnie.
By the way, what a good informational work. It's concise yet it's full of important details about the topic. Keep the great work!

Hmmm I'd like to think I'm an introvert because of how much I prefer to stay at home, but if I am *completely* alone at home (without family) for a day or two, I get pretty restless. And at some point if more days pass I'll be itching to go out.
I dislike parties though, especially those that are like concerts in a way. those make my head hurt. Though I can talk to strangers fairly easily, I do prefer one to one conversations.
I also need to recharge after going out, so I actually prefer to go out one day and the next day stay at home before going out again xD
As for my national animal, the Philippines writes theirs as the Philippine Eagle (our poor endangered floof of a bird). We have a few other animals native to our country, but I'm pretty sure we wanted something majestic. and maybe something similar to the country that conquered us and subsequently gave us freedom, amurica? lol

By and large, an introvert I am! I gotta force myself to get that vitamin D, but I love the snuggle of a blanket. As an 'murican, I have yet to see a bald eagle. I find it a little cute how in the US, not only is there a national bird, but there's also a state bird... and a state mammal(s).

I was born in england, I don't really know england's national animal; but I like to imagine that it's so laden with things from other cultures that you can barely see it under all the stuff.
Wether I'm introvert of extrovert completely depends on which personality You're talking to, and the mood they're in.

I am an introverted-extrovert I don't mind spending time alone, yet if I go too long alone, I get really depressed, drained, and down on myself. My love is nearly purely introverted (he really cannot stand crowds bigger than 12 people or so) and he insists that I get out at least once a week to keep me from cascading into depression.
I love your comics! Thank you for posting them!

I'd say I'm definitely an introvert and yet I can adapt to environments really well- I just dread it beforehand if it's something planned haha! I think it's true that everyone is a mix of both to varying degrees.
When I read your RSJ about the national animals I found it so interesting; I come from England but I guess I never considered our national animal because with both the bulldog and the lion I was like 'Oh yeah, I can see that!' but I'd never have said that on my own I don't think because I don't see either one much. But then it's about symbolism more than the actual wildlife around I guess (in that case I'd definitely say the Bulldog represents Britain well! ).
I quizzed my boyfriend on it too and he went 'uummm, a dragon?', I laughed because a dragon is the Welsh symbol but I guess he thought of dragons because of our historical tales of brave knights slaying dragons etc.
Brilliant comic as always!

I come from Latvia. We don't have a national animal as well, but we have a national insect (the two-spot ladybird), and the national bird (the white wagtail).
