Ooh, I love this picture. The contrast between the blue and the white is amazing, and the engine being in the picture adds the perfect touch. I love aerial photography.

that's true, there are some places that I LOVE visting but I would never dream of living there... I'm glad that you enjoyed the experience The countryside is beautiful, I stayed a couple of years ago for several days at a large farmhouse in the Beaujolais region, it was quite an experience and I don't think I've ever felt so much at peace. I hope you enjoy Tokyo if you decide to go! I visited a few years ago and thought it was really neat, but Kyoto was my definite favorite

Thank you so much!! I'm glad you enjoyed the picture!!
I LOVED Paris...I adore that city. It's just incredible. I'm in the process of learning French and I cannot wait to be fluent. I dream one day of studying in the Sorbonne for at least a semester or two!!
How did you enjoy living there?

well it was an interesting experience to say the least. i met the coolest people from around the world over there and now have somewhere to stay in tokyo, but other things i was less than impressed with. it's an experience i wouldn't trade for the world, but at least now i know that i don't really ever want to live there permanently. french towns and countryside is a completely different matter however.
