Description This was a homework assignment for my Drawing I class at school; we were learning how to draw objects from life in proportion while filling the page, blah blah blah. :blah:
In all honesty, I didn't put much time or effort into it because I didn't really care. I don't much enjoy my art class.

And sorry about the bad scan; it's a very large drawing and I had to scan it in sections and paste it back together.

still very nice. i always save all my art even if its just a practice piece. its also good to practice different types of drawing, since most of yours are anime (which are very good drawings), but i personally believe that its also good to explore other types that way maybe you can experiment and combine you know? just a suggestion for the future. very lovely conch.

That's true... I just hate drawing from life and reality; it doesn't allow much room for imagination and creativity. That's probably why I loathe my drawing class so much. But you're right, I am mostly re-learning useful techniques I'd long forgotten and can incorporate into my anime-style work.

good, and you can also experiment with the real life drawings and your own imagination. its lkike when a writer writes a book... it may be based on a true story, but they still use their imagination to fill in a more interesting part. same thing. draw what you see but add a few other things that include your imagination. i know this should be no problem for you. and also the teachers really like it when you take something and try to make it your own somehow. thats what my teacher liked anyways... i forget what the style was called... oh well.

by the way did you get my last rant on 'you and your future possibilities in life?'

anyways... got to go to work. Ciao!

True... true.

Yeah, I got your rant, but accidentally cleared my message centre before I could respond. From what I remember, I still disagree, but...

well i think you are wrong to think such aweful things about yourself. i know youve hear this a thousand times but you really do need to try and boost your self confidence. and i know its hard. but just pretend that you like yourself enough to make others think that you do. bc one thing ive noticed is that its not just pretty girls that get the guys... its mostly the confident girls. Guys really like girls that are confident. just try it.... maybe for a week.

And Its actually true that guys do like confident girls. I did not just make that up.

Thanks, but I've done the confident shit. I frankly don't care if I ever get another boyfriend ever again. They're all scum, if you ask me.

I'm serious though... I mean, what are they good for, honestly? Not much. Why put myself through all the stress again only to have the same shit happen to me every time? It's not worth it, if you ask me.

well... if and when you find the 'right' one, they truely can be great. you just have to be careful. unfortunately for you... you had a very bad first expierence and it is only natural for you to flinch at the hand that strikes you. but you really must trust me when i say this: Nathan was not what he seemed. And most guys are either forward asses, for forward princes. Nathan was neither. He led you and may have loved you back... but he was too much of a coward to pursue. like you said. he really is a coward. but whats worse is that he not only was too cowardly to pursue, he also proved himself to be an ass. Most guys are not like that. He has serious issues. Most guys are at least aware of their 'self.'

so in other words... this sort of behaviour does not happen all the time. this is a very rare incident. but you cant just give up bc he broke your heart... thats the ups and downs of relationships. he was just more ruthless and asshole-ish. that was a very wrong way to break up with you.

remember: if you fall off the toilet you gotta get back on.
