Though I have bad news, my mother just up and left yesterday; took her stuff & the dog God-knows-where and I haven't heard from her. I was in bad shape yesterday, but I'm doing better today... It hurts to be abandoned like this...

Her disappearance wasn't entirely unexpected; she and Dad have been having problems for yeeeeeeeears, and it was just a matter of when, not if, it would happen. Still caught me off guard though, which is normal, I imagine.
