chrlorez, no, I don't think it is that big of a deal. Nontheless, I find our (or just mine) fetish weird. Why ? Maybe because it doesn't stand in the normality or something like that, something we can talk about without being embarassed, something everybody thinks is right. This is sad, but real. Just thinking ot telling it to my friends... No, they would think I'm crazy... But the best is that maybe one of them has the same fetish than me !! In France macrophilia is something secret, nobody talks or hears about it, and it's a gigantic problem, whereas in America spirits are more open about it. Just seeing the different communities you'll understand : even if we're less than you, proportionnally there are way way more american artists than french ones... 
BUT, I agree with you : the character of a person sould really determine if they're good friends or not, that's why I didn't hesitate to tell my girlfriend my fetish. If she couldn't understand (I don't talk about liking, just aggreing that I enjoy it), then we weren't meant to eachother. 
To finish, I think this comic strip is realistic : a girlfriend can indeed not understand the fetish of her companion, so this story may take place in reality. Well... Just for the firts page, I think the rest won't ^^ I guess I'll just have to read to know !! X)

Is the act of having a strange sexual fantasy really that big a deal? Either way, it's still a fantasy, and it's not real life (or at least, not in ACTUAL real life). Even people think it's weird, or even freakish, should anyone really be judged by a mere thought or desire? Shouldn't the character of a person determine whether or not they are a good companion?

That's what bothers me with this comic strip. But my giantess fetish tells me that I should shut up. It's a great comic, nonetheless.
