It's easy enough to get started, DAZ studio 4 is free and it has a decent starter pack. But if you want scenes to look as real as possible, it can take a long while to render and is RAM intensive for bigger scenes.

Thanks, I'll probably have to continue with the writing for a while instead - my work computer could handle, but not taking that chance haha
