How do you modify the renders? Im interested in making an ARC Trooper but cannot figure out how to get the base image, or where to get it

I took some official renders from around the internet and remade them myself with the intention to make them look somewhat cartoony and sterile. Then I painted them. Unfotunately my HDD with all my work is unaccesible at the time and I had no backups when it failed. I'm keeping it on a box until I get the money and time to ship it to the US to be repaired. Otherwise I would just give them to you.

Interesting; I will have to look around and see what I can do then. I was asking because I currently do not have any photoshop or reliable paint programs and have resorted to doing art through each individual vexel (and that is very time-consuming x.x); Damn that sucks, especially when you put so much work into what is on there only for the system to quit on you. :/

Well, i use a pic of a render from the movies, then i put a texture over it and make a selection identical to the silhouette of the render, and i have to select again all different objects that the render has (helmet, shoulders, kneepads...) and give them detail with the curves tool and a blurry selection.
Later for the color i use levels, this time is very saturated because these clones in TCW are very saturated too.
I may write a tutorial explaining how to draw in this tyle soon.
