The Didact will be in an unbound state. I already know why he will be against us in the game and why he is the ancient evil, what he wants to do against us is fucked up to be honest lol

Now, I've read Cryptum, and I have absolutely no idea how the Didact would be this 'ancient evil'. I mean, absolutely nothing about his character makes me think 'evil'. Pragmatic, certainly, but not evil by any means.
Am I missing something? I don't mind spoilers (providing they're not from Halo 4 itself).

the didact as been the one in charge of destroying the humans in the forerunner/human war. he has a very animalistic hatred for the humans. he dos not belive that the human deserves to be reclamers since they no nothing of the mantle.ps: in halo annyversary terminals 343 guilty sparks speaks of the librarian as someone that kept the didact in line. but now that she is gone/missing the didact as nothing holding him back from exterminating the humans. the covenant in halo 4 themselves belives that the didact is the key to killing off the humans.

I'm still confused about why DIDACT is the "Ancient Evil"? It just doesn't make any sense! I mean, I really doubt he wants to destroy everything that his wife, Librarian, worked on. Then again, he might be struck by the grief of loosing her since she sort of "favored" humanity and he is going to take his frustration and anger on humanity.

Based of what I've read, and that isn't a whole lot, After a certain point in evolution, humans become a threat within the universe.
The Forerunners, being the protectors of the universe, trie to reverse the process of evolution, because even though humanity is a threat, it is in our nature, we cannot help it.
Next you must keep in mind that the original forerunners have gone extinct long ago, anything remotely human is just an AI ancestor of what was once a great legion, And even now they still pose a threat.

Halo 4 isn't Halo anymore... its a rejected idea from a Japanese sci fi role playing game, using cartoon graphics from Cartoon Network's Star Wars: Clone Wars.

Do you know that humans, elites and every other species within the Halo Universe also went extinct? The forerunners sent their genetic data to repopulate their worlds after the firing of the Array. Why the forerunners would not do the same with their own species?
I also think that one cannot judge a game without having played it...
