A really nice and big commission for 8TwilightAngel8 which she asked me to make for her birthday. I really enjoyed working on this one, not only are her characters very interesting and beautiful, I could also create nice scenery :3 Here we see her Prowler character Pariah (the beast on the left) hesitating whether he should guard his kill from the tundra dragon Balthazar (on the right) or leave the prey.Pariah, Balthazar ©

Very nice indeed, you're certainly getting better at backgrounds.
Pariah has a very nice pose and good contrast against the background, but I think his tail should be curved downward rather than upwards to signal his more submissive and hesitant stance.
Balthazar's fur and feather texture are quite lovely but I see more issues with him than I do with Pariah. There's a lack of contrast around him so he blends into the background a little too much, a good way to see if you have enough contrast between the light and dark areas of a picture is to completely desaturate it so that it is in gray-scale. Balthazar's wings have a mostly correct anatomy but his "arm" seems a bit odd, bird wings have very short upper arms and long forearms. I like that you included the alula (thumb feathers) many artists seem to forget them, but you seem to have missed the axillaries which protrude from the around the birds armpit swartzentrover.com/cotor/Photo…
The background has some very good rendering, especially the mountains and the grass. But the mountains seem a little too close, this could be because they are a little bit too sharp. Thing that are further from the eye are blurrier and lack contrast, this is due to something called atmospheric haze (which I don't know enough about to really talk about).
