My part of the trade between me and AlviaIt's not completely what I wanted it to be, but this is my first deviation I made for 100% with watercolors. It was fun to try out, and I think I'll do more with watercolors. I like them ^^
Although, it's not 100% watercolors... 1% is east indian ink for the lineart
This are Elkada ( the black one) and Ankada ( the white one), the catgryphons of Alvia. The species belong to her, and I had really much fun doing them. They have whiskers! Elkada and Ankada are sisters btw
I'm not quite sure why I put them in a mountain area, but I guess they just wanted to escape from the urbanworld
I hope you like them Alvy, and sorry for the fact it took me so long to make them
The eye of Ankada looks more purple in real life, but I think I should blame the sunless weather for that
And winter time, it's so early dark, bleh...

What you could think of 'til next time is to have less intense colors on the mountains furthest away. That would make them "fall back" more.

Well, yea, thanks for the advice... I kindof was freaking out it would be too boring with only grey tones, and Enkada was almost falling away with dark grey mountains, so in my hysteric action I colored them green and a bit blue T_T
I'll keep that in mind, thanks

you're welcome. Maybe just less color and more water would do the trick, you don't necessarily need to use blue
