Yes, indeed, another picture of a girl with long hair
What can I say? I just LOVE long hair and find infinite satisfaction in drawing it! That and long hair has been something of an obsession with me lately as I've had to cut off about 6 inches of my own tresses due to it being thin and ratty on the ends (this summer has been less than kind to my hair), and drawing it made me feel better
Anyway, I'm also dedicating this drawing to my friend , who shares in my love of long hair and has some stunning tresses of her own
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Done completely freehand and without a model, which explains why, if any, of the shading is off
Instruments used: Graphites of various hardnesses and basic printer paper.
My scanner isn't the best in the world and it is especially hard to get good looking scans of graphite drawings, so please forgive that this isn't a perfect piece.... believe me, it looks much better in real life

Thank you so much for both comments! I'm glad you like the piece, especially since it was done without a model and I had to rely on just what I could see in my head.... I did use a manikin just for the general pose, but nothing other than that. The air of freedom was exactly what I was trying to impart, thank you so much for expressing how it made you feel, it means a great deal to me
