Description Drawn for a level 2 university drawing course. Graphite sticks and mechanical pencils on academia paper.

The assignment was to take rubbings of textures and uneven surfaces and find an image in these patterns. The technical process is called "frottage" I believe. To be honest I made a lot of this up because our instruction wasn't 100% clear, the prof would say it had to be spontaneous and not pre-meditated, we just had to FIND the image but then he would say we needed to have an idea of what we wanted to achieve and the kind of space we wanted to create. It was just generally frustrating.

Soooo I half-assed my way through a sci-fi-esque landscape and called it a day.
