I really like this design! You definitely made him look more alien this way, I think it's really intriguing how you were able to push it while still remaining true to the primary things we know about andalites' appearances. The tucked in tail is a really nice touch too. c:

I love how his ears are ruffled, and the shape of his head. the nose/forehard slope makes a lot more sense than having it scoop like a human face. Definitely love the cleft hooves. Also the tail reminds me of ringtailed lemurs? idk. Adorable and well thought out all the way around.

Ahh, thanks! Glad you appreciate the thought put in XD I guess ringtails typically carry their tails up high with that little arc, so I can see where that thought's coming from.

More cartoonish look on this one?
Gotta say, I was a really big fan of the style you'd been drawing them in previously. Your prior andalite drawings have always been my favorite representation of them.
I'd love to see a female drawn in the old style.

Somewhat more cartoonish than usual I suppose? I switch between styles when the mood strikes me. I find the previous style probably the most 'attractive' but least 'alien', plus it feels a little more like fanart rather than attempts at character design. And then there's all the niggling little anatomy/biology stuff I usually like to keep in mind. Not too much in mind, because all the reality defying biology Andalites have sometimes hurt my head, but I think about it a little XD

Hahah, yeah, Andalite biology is always fun. The 'eating through the hooves' thing drives me crazy. I'm always trying to figure out a way it could possibly work.
