Okita isn't very scary, but I have a thing for Okita after Gintama xDD

The anime opening made me laugh. The beginning is so fanservice-y.

I just sneer at the poor designs of Atsuko Nakajima who just can't draw at all.. I'm sorry, I hate her work like BURNING.

lol Well, the Hakuouki game visuals are gorgeous in my opinion. Kinda hard to match up to them in anime form.

yeah but srsly Studio Deen could do better production-wise... all the beauty of Kazuki Yone's got killed in the process. In comparison, Manglobe's House of 5 Leaves is beautiful and the setting is older than Hakuouki iinm...

I think it has to do with the company? Manglobe does a lot of beautiful animations...I'm not too specific on these kind of things, but I thought Samurai Champloo was well done...
Hmmm. Then again, maybe they didn't do as well as they could because Hakuouki is an otome game?
