This box was made as a birthday gift to *Sunrise-Spirit , who had already recieved it even if her birthday is this friday!

Decoration based on Saint Seiya/Greek Mithology. In fact, Deltha, her OC in our fic Donde Todo Empieza, has a music box with this song.

1. I bought the light wood box and the 18 notes music movement, individually.
2. I made the holes for the movement, cut the wood piece for the switch on/off system and sticked it together.
3. I primed the wood, and painted with a light colour. Then I stenciled it with darkest tones.
4. I cut/sticked the papers with greek motives of the inside, and then the outside. I varnished all of it.
5. I crackled the varnish and gave it an old look with "asphalt".
6. Then I made the frame of the mirror based on the design of Nikè in Saint Seiya with clay. I painted in gold tones, and add the old look too. I sticked it to the inside of the cover.
7. I screwed the music movement, and then I sticked the "walls" to protect it.
8. Voilá!

Esta cajita fue el regalo de cumpleaños de :devsunrise-spirit;, que ya lo recibió aunque su cumple sea este viernes!

Decoración basada en Seint Seiya y mitologia griega.De hecho, Deltha, su OC en nuestro fic Donde Todo Empieza, tiene una caja musical con esta misma canción.

1. Compré la caja de madera ligera, y el mecanismo musical de 18 notas, individualmente.
2. Hice los agujeros y corte las piezas de madera para el sistema de encendido y apagado, y lo pegué.
3. Apliqué una capa de imprimación a la madera, la pinté con tonos claros, y finalmente lo pinte con estarcido en tonos más oscuros.
4. Recorté y pegué los papeles de motivos griegos del interior, y luego del exterior. Lo barnicé entero.
5. Apliqué un craquelado sobre el barniz, y lo envejecí con betún de judea.
6. Después, hice el marco del espejo en pasta polimérica, basandome en el diseño de Nikè de Saint Seiya. Lo pinté en tonos dorados, y también lo envejecí. Después lo pegué en el interior de la tapa.
7. Atornillé el mecanismo de la caja musical, y pegué las paredes que lo recubren para protejerlo.
8. Voilá!
