I saw this piece on the front page of DA and was immediately amazed.
Traditional media, more for pencil, will always have the biggest part of my heart though I find myself doing more digital work. Your art piece here is the reminder of what that felt like. To see the roughness of each and every single line elegantly flowing to create movement in what is still. This has to be one of the most inspiring sketches I've come to see on this site so far. Granted, I haven't been a member for long but it was on the front page for a reason. On a more personal note, I'm one to keep the rough lines for digital work because I've always believed in giving art life and that the liens, out of place or not, aid in that life concept. With how the art here is drawn, the lines around the hair and neck 'incomplete' (I fee) gives that essence of being more than a piece of art work. I would not change one thing, not a single line, on this work. By being what some may consider 'unfinished' it is complete. Wonderful job, Ladowska.
