Been playing with this concept for awhile; I'm rather happy with how it came out.I wish I had something profound to put here, but the picture pretty much speaks for itself.
Orca's are so damn beautiful.

That is really amazing.
I've seen plenty of yin-yang orca attempts, but this is one the best pictures of that I have ever seen. It's practically flawless!

^_^ Thank you! The white orca was to help demonstrate a sort of "yin-yang" effect, but there really was an albino orca named Chimo.

Thankyou for the link, what a lovely creature. Yeah, I imagined there would be albino orca but that's the first I've seen a photo of.
The yin yang thing works. Is that the nothern lights in the background?
One thing that I think I would change would be the splash, maybe worth checking a reference? Think it could work better if it's density wasn't so uniform.

You're probably right about the splash. I'll be sure to investigate water movement a little more carefully the next time I do a water picture. 
Yep, those are the northern lights and yep, Chimo's gorgious. Unfortunately, she passed away. Albino animals tend to die young me thinks.

Was she born in captivity? I think I heard once that animals, especially whales/marine mammals, are more likely to be born with genetic weaknesses if born in captivity.

No, Chimo was captured and brought into captivity. But captivity does significantly reduce their life span. The average orca lives 7.5 years in captivity versus the 50+ years in the wild.

That's cool! I really like how you did the shadows expecially on the black one. The white one is an awesome concept done well, but I have to ask: is it's tail colored backwards, or am I just not seeing it in the right position? I'm mean shouldn't there be a black marking in the middle of the back fin as well?
