Originally I wasn't fond of this picture, but it's grown on me...why? because I adore these three XD I think they make an interesting exploration trio!Link was in this too (Twilight Princess, AKA: Angsty Link) and it was to show off my 4 favorite characters to play as in Brawl, but TP Link looked so out of place, I cut him out *nods* besides, those 3 could hardly fit into the King of red Lions as it is, putting TP Link in it would have sank the boat...background was thought up after I finished drawing the characters, so that's why it looks a little out of place.

The hair was sort of the reason I went through and finished this 
I do want to add Ho-ho...so I shall when I can ^^ and I'm not too worried if the trio sails to the seagulls, Everyone there has sea battle experience though Lucas might be a little inexperienced above the water fighting... I can imagine it be very hard to battle since for some reason I decided they are all sailing in the KoRL :/ very cramped...
and very late, but I hope you had a great thanksgiving too! My sis isn't expecting for 3 months, still, but she appreciates all the kindness from everyone ^^

Well for an experimentation with coloring characters and lighting their hair and such, this is pretty nice! 
It's pretty good for a comeback picture, but I can see why you don't like it too much. Ah well.

I do actually like this. mostly because of the 3 in it <3 but as for quality, no...not to happy with that. I still have it printed on my wall now anyways

Heh, I actually (finally) played Earthbound for the first time last night. Didn't get too far yet, just whooped Frank and then gave up after being killed by...ants several times in a row (damn their multiplying abilities!) 
I'll give it another chance though, it may influence some art ideas in the future. By the way, I named Paula Maggi (lol couldn't fit an e in there!) and I named Jeff Jon and Poo Luife...yeah I'm a nerd >w<
That aside, great to see another submission from you! Aside from Ness's eyes looking a little weird (maybe just a tad out of place?), the pic looks good to me! Would love to see some more art from your BTGS series (though I think I've bugged you enough about at). I keep having brainstorms of similar adventure stories, starring yours truly and my DA buddies.

IT'S DONE!?? I would LOVE to read all of it!! I am on a serious reading addiction these days(Ive read 3 books in under a week!), and I promise not to share any of it. So please, consider it a personal favor (or early xmas gift) if you would please let me read it all. *puppy dog eyes*
In closing, I believe that shoddy work (even if others don't think it bad/shoddy), is ALWAYS better than no work (published) at all

*sigh* Well ok, I'm not normally one to press someone about sharing. I just really liked the concept for the series, and personally, I think it would be a great inspiration for future works I hope to make (involving our little DA gang,yay!).
Like I ALWAYS say Maggie, you are far too hard on yourself. I am not a judgmental type and it's not like I would be critiquing your writing while I'm reading it.
If you decide to at least either scan the pages from your notebook, or retype them, I am NOT getting my hopes up, but I want you to know I would be very grateful if you were to share anything at all.
Inspiration or not, I hope to have something fun for all my DA buddies to read sometime in the future. As to when, I have no clue, but as I always say to my PW fans, stay tuned!

The only thing is their eyes are too low... I think before you color something you should use your image editing progrum to move things around a bit 
this is a great picture ^_^ you are so good at shading.. though sometimes it looks oddly like something embossed in 3d over a 2d surface.

XD yeah, I've been experimenting with the filter effects to see if I can find a way to make better backgrounds. so sometimes it has that 3d effect while the rest is 2d looking. like the map, I colored it regularly, but it didn't look map-ish so I added a canvas texture to it D: why? does it look bad?

actually your backgruond is great, in this case I meant more like.. well actually I'm not see much of that flat-looking good shading here, but perhaps I meant Ness and Lucas' legs, and Ness's shorts.. oh and Link and Lucas' hair.. all VERY well shaded, but they look sort of flat, though extremely realistic.. not sure how to explain that better.. I'm no good at shading myself.
Yeah the eyes look way better now, though if I were you I'd lift Link's nose just a tiny bit...

Sorry but, Ness' head is really messed up. XD But aside from that I like this, especially the Chu Chu you threw in there. But what really shines here is the coloring job, very lovely.
By the way I love the King of Red Lions, he's my second favorite Zelda character ever. So this already is cool since he's in it. XD
