Cel Shaded illustration of the scientist, Melina, commissioned by my friend, . Some may know her as "RP".This image is one of the first in my push towards using perspective more often in my work. It's something I really enjoy in art, but due to using traditional media for so many years, and having very limited space, creating proper perspective was just not practical for me for a long time. And of course, a lot of the content I draw takes place inside man (or alien) made structures, so like it or not, it's a skill I'll continue to pursue and am quite happy with the results in this illustration, despite the extra effort needed to pull it off.

Really like how this came out
I like how the perspective/angle came out and how there is some really cool lighting going on here. I really like how the contents in the vial are illuminating cause of the lighting and how smooth a look and feeling the nylons give.

Lady owl, I know I said it in the e-mail but good god I love this picture. Thank you a million times for taking on the challenge of drawing Melina. I adore the lighting you used. It fits perfectly with her lab. The details in the fabric you do always is phenomenal and adds a wonderful texture to your clothing designs. Evrything about this is perfection down to the details of the grout in the floor. Thank you for taking this piece on and making it rock!
