I love this picture. I love this dress. I would give almost anything to be the girl wearing it. I would give almost anything for a closet full of dresses just like it.

About a year ago, I shared this picture to prove a point to the "I stand with JK" crowd on Twitter. I endured almost 8 days of constant harassment by gender critical bigots (mostly from TERF Island) over my choice of fashion before it died down.

But I stand by what I said then as I do now.

So in honor of Pride 2021, my 100th submission to this site and as people try more and more to erode my right to exist, I say loud and proud:

My name is Ashley. I am a WOMAN. and if you don't like that, you can suck my girl dick!

Here is the original tweet that started the insanity.

It started when James Stephanie Sterling made a tweet telling people off for giving him a hard time for calling Rowling a bigot.

Someone asked in a somewhat honest tone “what was so wrong with what she said”. I responded with that tweet... and as you can see, all hell broke loose. And I’m an Irish girl from Brooklyn, so I don’t back down when pushed.

It started with a businesswoman in Canada using her public profile to harass me, and then the rest of the troublemakers came out of the woodwork.

I came out with a term for a lot of them “Staren” Stan+Karen

But it’s nice to know more people liked it than even responded to it.
