Edit: If you see/saw this on pixiv, YES, it was stolen from me by certain assholeso.. i heard something about "megablaziken" D: i was curious and checked today and...... and this came out in 20 min
this was not made with fandom wars purpose. it's just for fun. i like pokemon too, blaziken is my fav pokemon + we all know digimon became pokemon with the hunters thing 8D
i drew it directly in PS! i didn't know i was capable of that 8DDD
edit: oh god! i just noticed the mistake in wargreymon's arm x/DD

Taking the fandom war thing aside, Megas are called Ultimates in Japan, so it's hardly a ripoff.

The digivoltution that comes before ultimate is mega, so pokemon mega evolution is mainly a ripoff of digimon digivoltution

It's really only a nomenclature issue, and even then, it's just in Digimon's dub terms, not even the original ones. In the original Japanese, the dub Ultimate stage is called Perfect, while the dub Mega stage is called Ultimate. These are just names for evolutionary stages.
Really, the only thing you can compare Pokémon's Mega Evolution to is Digimon's Burst Mode; both are temporary huge boosts to a monster's power. Lore-wise, both require a strong bond between human and monster. That is where the similarities end.
Again, there is absolutely no way Pokémon is ripping off Digimon here. Besides, there is a plethora of franchises that did super modes earlier, such as Dragon Ball and Sonic The Hedgehog. I could name a dozen more examples, but I hope you understand my points.

I don't remember saying I was talking to her/him. I was talking to the mass of eight year olds crying about how digimon is being "ripped off" by Nintendo. Just look up "mega evolution" on google and you will see what I am talking about. Hubiera quedado mejor Shinegreymon BM (Por que la "Mega Evolucion" pokemon es mas como el BM, una forma que solo se utiliza en batalla... y tiene fueguito 8D) pero creo que asi no tendria la misma gracia (Oh god, la cara de Wargreymon xDDD)
Ademas que ciertos pokefans solo conocen Adventure y esta es una perfecta imagen para joderlos despues de tanto "Digimon es plagio de pokemon" (?)

Un verdadero fan de cualquier lado puede ver esto y reirse alegremente, no hay para qué enojarse y crear guerras XP!
Además, el término ni siquiera existe en Japón, que es de donde obviamente vienen ambos: La última evolución en Digimon es 'Kyukyoku' o 'Ultimate', 'Mega' no existe para Digimon en Japón, fue idea del doblaje inglés que le cambió el nombre a casi todo. Y aquí en Latinoamérica adoptamos 'Mega' porque... hay como 7 traducciones para 'Ultimate' y ninguna encaja bien y algún nombre tenían que ponerle XP! Pokémon está haciendo 'Mega Shinka' o 'Mega Evolution', y 'Evolution' lo ocupaban ambos. Varios han usado esta defensa de 'copiar el nombre' que en realidad no tiene bases.
En fin, debates aparte, un gran aplauso para ti por hacerlo todo en Ps, y además se ve excelente, bien hecho Beelze!
