Any more problems are your own concern, they aren't mine to atone for.
Words mean everything to me, and this you know.
Shadows of pain are etched in my eyes, at I tried so hard but just lost it all.

For all you called us family I was not treated like any family that I wish to be.
Know that I do not wish to cause you pain, but this is your own doing.
All I lost, I grieved for but I can now move on.

Be everything that you want to, let nothing hold you back, I just won't be at your side this time.
Doing everything that I can to survive, you didn't see that I was still fighting.
On my own, my heart aches for my loss, but I just add on to the scars.

Time has changed me, I am different from who I was before.
Fighting my body, fighting for my chance to succeed I will not give up even as I bleed.
Scarred from wounds directed at my heart, I put on my armor, I raise my guard.
