Greetings to all Data fans and Star Trek fans
!! I decided to draw Data as a merdroid (Merman + Android=Merdroid) because his interest in becoming human is similar to Hans Christian Anderson's story, "The Little Mermaid" since the main protagonist in the story desires to have a soul. And no I am not talking about the Disney version of the story
!!!Anyways I hope you all enjoy my artwork

Not exactly hooker-like, but (especially in Laverne's case) ready to jump into bed on the first date. Ah, you remember Rhonda, do you? Yeah, I think she had a lot to do with it - she was rubbing suntan oil on her cleavage in the opening credits, for Pete's sake!

I don't believe I do remember Rhonda. I just watched the season 6 opening to Laverne and Shirley and I just saw the blonde chick whom you pointed out rubbing suntan lotion on her melons

That is a big fat whopping YES; Seasons 1-5 are SO much better than Seasons 6-8, just for the fact that they are the Milwaukee years. The Milwaukee seasons had the original gang, that air of nostalgia and innocence that made the show so appealing in the first place, and, of course, the perfect setting for Laverne and Shirley to have their nutty adventures. Milwaukee was their home, and it's like Dorothy said in "The Wizard of Oz": there's no place like home.

This Is Cute. Will there be a story or a series of drawings of stories based on this concept. You've stumbled into something very Unique with this & I'm sure that People would like to see More adventures of your Mer-Data.

I feel the Universes of the Star Trek the Next Generation Series of Tv & Movies & The Ecco the Dolphin Series of Video games would go great together.

Now that you mention this idea I will start drawing Data in stories that are based on the concept of humanity. So far the only ones I can think of are Frankenstein and The Little Mermaid.Then again Data is like the modern futuristic version of the Frankenstein monster so I'm not sure if drawing Data as Frankenstein is such a good idea or not 
As for the adventures of Data the Merdroid I will definitely have to make a comic strip series out of it. Who knows maybe all of the Star Trek: TNG crew should be mermaids and mermans

The dolphin was just random because I wanted to draw a cute sea creature that was just hanging out with Data. However I am not stopping you from imagining the dolphin as Ecco

You Really should Check the series out. It's nothing like you would expect a video game series with dolphins to be about....
....Time Travel, Magic Crystals, Ancent Civilizations, Aliens, morphing, Super powers, Alternate Realities...
& that's only part of the experiance.

The word 'merdroid' reminded me of an idea I had a while back for a comedic comicstrip call 'Mandroid and Brobot'. I may still get around to it.
