Lol, for awhile after Dunsparce was introduced, I did not realize it was normal type or a snake! I though it was a ground type or something! XD
I still like it though.

Lol, it doesn't look like one! Not that much at least. In Silver & Crystal (my bro got Gold), I caught it & STILL couldn't believe it wasn't a ground type! It doesn't look very snake-like either, but that's probably cause of the wings. I like it, but its appearance is so deceiving!

Its probably because it is more based on a tsuchinoko.
"Dunsparce is based on the mythical tsuchinoko. Similar to Bigfoot or the Chupacabra, sightings and reports appear in Japanese media; however, hard evidence is always lacking. Tsuchinoko are 30 cm to 80 cm long, with a large head and poisonous fangs. Its body is thicker than its head and tail. The noises it makes resemble squeaks, chirps and snores. Unlike real snakes, which slither from side to side, a tsuchinoko wiggles ahead in a straight line. The tsuchinoko curls its body to leap through the air. Moreover, the fact that Dunsparce, a snake-like creature, has wings also brings to mind the motif of the Feathered Serpent, a prominent deity or supernatural being in many Mesoamerican religions. In addition, Dunsparce shares some traits with bumblebees, including their stripes, tiny wings, stinger-like tail, and the fact that they burrow into the ground."

My bro & I had B/W pre-ordered & we got them the day the games came out. I got Black & my bro got White. I beat the main story, got into the hall of fame after the main story & training, & filled the Pokedex (not including Meloetta, Genesect, & Keldeo) in 6 DAYS. Took me a few days more to complete the National Pokedex. I've been playing the games since the original Red, Blue & Yellow versions came out. I got Red & Yellow, my bro got Blue. I only like those PK games. Not the others, including the ranger ones. Believe it or not, my game boy, game boy color, game boy advance, & gba sp still work. The same thing goes for the games for them AND my n64. Kinda sad that they're considered antiques now. Time flys when you're having fun?
