I looked over much of your work and tried your site also but allas your site did not come up in my browser. Is it ie only?
At any rate I like your work it is very good for modeling. Fairly realistic or at least much more so than most.

Thank you very much! Ummm I thought my site was compatible with both but I only work with ie so i never tested it in anything else...here try this and see if this works,

I am in the middle of updating it though, so all I have is my older stuff on there...

holy crap woman! 6 hours on the wings ALONE????? wow. and it hought my pic "There is Good in All of Us" took a while. took me three hours to color with coloring pencils. this has such great detail and the hair is so realistic. you got the softness of the hair too. very cool. the body anatomy and color is so rich. especially the shading. very nice.

Thanks! Yea sometimes working with 3d can take just as long as doing it by hand! But I envy those who can draw freehand! I suck at it so bad!

Poser at its best, once again. Except that feather near the front could do for a bit more fiber.

Thanks! I thought about that too, but in order to do that it would of messed up the figure behind the feather. Thanks for the complement!

Oh. Maybe you could try moving the feather a bit.

Yea that would of worked, but its hard to do that when the render time is about six hours! After I rendered I figured I would just work with what I had!

That's with most of my work too. Not that it takes long to render, but I don't bother to change them afterwards. Either I'm lazy or I use them as references.

No matter how many times I see your work, I feel blown away. I can't recall ever seeing wings drawn like that. The level of detail in your pics boggle my mind.

LadydragonTL In reply to furryb [2004-10-19 04:14:11 +0000 UTC]
Thanks again! Well the detail is good because the images I work with are so large...this ones orginal size is about 40 inchs by 40 inches, at 300dpi. It is time consuming because it slowes my computer way down, but I do get the level of detail that I want. So it works for me!

Geeze that's huge! I can't remember ever going past 20 inches on my computer. Wouldn't dare actually (computer's crashed on less). Zooming in and out of those kind of pics must be disorienting to say the least.

Very! Sometimes I would forget what part I was working on, because it took so long to zoom in and out! Good thing I have a lot of patients!

You must have the patients of a saint. I remember drawing on my P1 about three years ago. It had an annoying three second delay before it let me even see a line drawn that drove me nuts.

Geeze. That's longer than it takes for my computer to load my desktop. I already give mine a kick every now and then out of frustration. It would be out the window if I had to wait that long.

Lol! Yea thats the one thing I have tons of! I still get those delays, sometimes there not so bad, but the ones that are like a couple of minutes long are the ones that drive me crazy!

I was going to post 'thats awesome' but it seems many people have beat me to it, therefore I must think of something quality to say...
The pose and hair are excellent, they give a real sense of fall, but without conveying that shes panicing. The lack of ground, or at least a destination to fall too, somewhat detracts from it, making her seem like she has been, and will always be, falling. However if thats your intention then its well realised.

LadydragonTL In reply to TheTrueApropos [2004-10-18 22:17:20 +0000 UTC]
Thanks! And you got it right on! She is falling from grace with no real destination, she is not paniced because she has accept the fact that she has been cast out, and is letting destiny decide her fate! Well it sounded much better in my head! lol!

nice~ i love the concept and composition~
my only comment would be regarding the hair and the wings- the hair seems to be lacking a bit of body, it looks too wispy~ the wings look awkward as well, awkward angle.
just a comment~
hope i've helped you out~
