layers are indeed your friend, heh. i tend to have duplicate layers of everything just so i can experiment on a layer to see how it looks, and then try mix it with the other layers some how. fading, opacity change, etc.

Yea! I just recently learned how to use them, and I had so many dupilcate layers on this last piece for the same reason!
