I've been real curious about that discovery for awhile now. The newspaper article talks about the suits leaking blood and mucus, yet the bodies of the children were never found. It's obvious that the children were stuffed inside, but why were there no bodies discovered? Unless the whole restaurant help back up Purple Guy to protect their reputation. But even still..
I hope the novel covers this part because I cannot wrap my head around it.

It is a hard part to write because if some awful things flowing out from the robots, wouldn't someone think of the obvious? In my story, they'll probablY be found, but as I'm writing this, maybe I found a way to let them not be found

Exactly! So why were they leaking when no body was discovered.. Maybe they started leaking once the Puppet put their souls into the robots. It stated they were like a living "corpse" so perhaps that was a sign that the animatronics became fully possessed.
