Yeah that's more like him. *sarcastic* He's such a gentleman. I did this because it's been a while since I've drawn Varren Haka with his beloved cigarette (and yes I realize the smoke coming off it is kinda...slanted but I didn't want it in his face because his face actually turned out rather well, surprisingly). I drew him another crazy outfit. I always wanted to do one with feathers...even though I hate to draw them. Can you tell?
The coloring isn't the best of the best. And maybe the stance isn't all that great...rather simple really -_- I want to draw something better but since I have my math class now it's not as easy. You know, I reached 8,000 views so here's to that I guess? Why not. And to anyone who loves the colors green and black.

His. Design. Is. GORGEOUS! I love all of the bright green with the black, it really makes the character as a whole stand out! His outfit is simply amazing, all of the different detailings in it just really add to the character as a whole. He is so pretty *.*

I'm looking at a beautifully detailed picture, that's what I'm looking at.
I like the V and H on his outfit, and the "Haka" on his right arm. And the shading is pretty sweet.

Seriously, when it comes to clothing design and such intricate detail, I envy you greatly. ^^ So much effort looks like it's been put into this. And don't be so hard on yourself - the stance looks just right as it keeps the attention more on what Varren's wearing, rather than what he's doing. And the colouring is great as always...especially on the hair. Very beautiful work, Lady 13!
And, of course, Varren is looking very VERY handsome.

Well I'm very glad you like it. I do try to put as much effort into the clothing as possible, especially in Varren's since I believe a rockstar should really be out of this world when it comes to clothes design. With his outspoken attitude, he needs it. I'm glad that the stupid pose doesn't take anything away from it. Now that you mention it, it does let the eyes focus more on the character. Thanks for pointing that out! I would have never thought of that.

Yes my crazy clothes. But it's Varren and he's a rockstar. And...just think that people in that business are bound to have crazy outfits like his! I'm pretty sure Varren especially would have a lot of little things all over his clothes. The bulk probably helps hide is face so there's even less of a chance that his father knows about his career. He probably wears masks and such at concerts too.

It is very annoying to draw allt hose clothes and accessories. I wanted to kill this picture in the end.
