Thanks a lot. I've been doing pixels since I was around 11 or 12.
I think I know what your problem is with pixels. (Specifically for the pixel doll you made). It's a little messy on the outlines. When you're making a pixel doll, you first sketch it with a 1pt pencil of any color, then erase all of the guide lines, except for the outline, and then get rid of the messy edges, and bam! Start coloring, and then you animate.

I love your shading with these, but something looks wrong with the highlights in the hair, not sure what it is...maybe you should have left out the darker outline on the yellow?

Well... there are pixel artists who take several weeks to make a simple bounce animation, so I'm not as bad as you think.
