Yes this is Hawaii. Yes it's not all green and tropical. That's because volcanic rock is kinda hard to grow on. Also weather around mountains/volcanoes is weird.Basically the northwestern part of Hawaii is kinda rocky and barren as seen above, while the southeastern part is all lush forest. I believe there is a Hawaii myth/legend attached to this....
