But I had left out small boxes of Hershey kiss decoys just for them. And even hid the real bonbons in a large box marked Brussel sprouts behind the other box of frozen broccoli.

And I was so certain the brussel sprouts and broccoli would work as moth balls or disguise the scent.

I had tried smelly French cheese last time. But when I went to retrieve the box that year, I found a group of very happy fairies. They were throughly enjoying both the cheese and chocolates, while toasting their good fortune with a bottle of one of my better red wines that they stumbled upon while searching.
