Ok, this is just a work in progress, but i like how it's going so far so i thought i would show my fans and friends what's to come.

Technically, this is for my A2 art project on Digital Art. The inspiration for the eventual style is thanks to

Although it is an art project piece, it may be fairly obvious from the title that this is a character from my novels.

I don't think it should be part of the 'Women of Ataskia' series because the style is so different, but this is a potential illustration for "The Letter A".

Tsarina Neava Herwald is the ruler of Ataskia. Her defining features, which I've tried to show, are that she looks a lot younger than she is after taking the throne at an early age.

She never married, or had any children, but surrounds herself with courtesans for company, relying heavily on Loranus for advice.

Just a little insight.

I am trying to involve natural elements into the costume here so that the forest-life of the Ataskian community is reflected, along with the purple-steel tones of the official colours.
