Here's a collab with the young and very talented ~ursulabear . Yay!
And what an exciting thing it was to illustrate her poem! I don't think I have ever done anything like this before.

As you can see that "tears in jars" image grabbed me .... it really did.. it makes me think of preserving all your sorrow and cradling it to your heart...you keep them in organised little spaces and you'd be terrified if they ever were to be taken away, because you'd feel so helplessly poorer without them. But at the same time you're trying to lock them up and keep them away the best you can (and not just from the world, but from yourself as well).
...at least.. that's what's up with me.
I had some random and personal things written on those little pieces of papers and snippets, but they distracted too much from the beautiful poem, so I had them removed. Everyone picture their own sorrows there :]

And though it didn't really end up how I'd have pictured it (I wanted either something more abstract or more concrete..), I'm sortof pleased with how it came out. I like the jars :]

Oh, and guess what!.. no textures this time...
