**Update: Changed the color the gadget glows in to the color the character will transform into. Hopefully this clears up some misunderstanding. The gadget itself is what initiates the transformation.

In the cartoon it's a gadget they use to "transform" into spies. I haven't watched the show, but in the intro they press it and it flashes and it changes their outfits into different colored catsuits- which are their spy outfits. It seems similar to the sailor scouts' accessories when they transform into their sailor uniforms- although this is just a flash and not all the fancy Sailor Moon effects. Or so I believe lol
