for the #marriageception challenge on Tumblr, because the idea of Eames and Arthur getting married is adorable and lovely and I love those things.

Eames took like years to ask Arthur, to the point in which Arthur is perfectly convinced Eames is against any kind of serious commitment and gave up any hope to build something serious with him one day… and he resolved to have Eames be the one taking the relationship to a more serious level, because Eames is the one striving for freedom and space, while he is the one just adapting to what he has around, building his personal equilibrium in every kind of situation. so when Eames asks him, he can’t believe his ears. it was probably the very first time Eames has seen him cry, actually.
