I think this is a great teaching tool! It's honestly a good guide for any pose. I admit I break about all the 'rules' when I do familiar poses and such (starting with the fleshy outline of the body and tweaking inward), but if I'm ever stuck or trying something outside my comfort zone, the framework basics are a godsend to revisit. The wire skeleton has saved a few pieces from being rage-quit before their time!
