Edit: This is NOT fanart. Oracle is a character from my WIP story, Genesis Dissentire
Oracle is plugged into the planetwide communication system of Genesis (think the futuristic version of the internet) via the nanites in her body so she can essentially spy on anyone who can’t block her/she can’t access. The markings on her body are from the nanites (she’s a recovered nano-addict), and glow in waves while she’s accessing the system.

Oh wow! This new project looks really cool! How did you manage to animate the lights on her arms? That's incredible! Also the nanite scars are incredibly detailed- and stand out really well against the hot pink background.

Thank you so much! I merged the layers of the character and duplicated them about six times, then made copies of the nanite markings six times too and put a white wave on each layer at different intervals so it looks like it's moving. It's pretty easy! She's recently become a fairly important character in the story, so I thought I ought to draw a decent picture of her.

WHOA! I wasn't ready for the pulsing lights! Caught me completely be surprises and it really drives home your description for some reason. I have a feeling I wouldn't want her watching me.

Oh man! I really love the contrast between her dark skin and the glowing blue markings on her arm. (I'm a sucker for blue runic markings like that anyway XD) Great job on the animation too >A>
Oh man I couldn't imagine being plugged into wifi through my own head. XD I can see how it can become an addiction too. Does she have to cover up if she doesn't want anyone to know if/when she's accessing the system? >>

Thank you so much! I really like drawing complicated markings on people too! I doodle up a lot of tattoo designs that I save for using on characters, which is how Trenton got his tattoo. xD
Thanks! I've only ever tried complicated animations, so this was a nice (and easy!) change!
She stays in Rogue compounds so she doesn't have to cover up seeing that she's around allies all the time. (: She does need some solitude though; she can't stay plugged in all the time or she might "lose herself" to the millions of people she's living her life through while accessing the system. She'll go and seclude herself in a soundproof room for a designated amount of time where she disconnects and can hear herself think.

This is soo pretty! I love how nicely the nanites contrast her skin tone, it looks neat.
Also, I've notices you've been putting thin outlines around people and the purple looks really great here.

Thanks! I included the outlines here because she was blending into the black background too much without them, plus they're a nice way to make a character stand out when I don't know what to do for a background. ;D

She looks great! I love that blue and how it really stands out, and the each circuit line is so thin but positioned to pollow the curves of her body. I wonder though, how much of a risk she faces from hackers and viruses in the system

Thank you so much! I was originally going to make her circuitry bright pink, but I liked the blow contrast with her skin tone better. Designing all those patterns was a surprisingly nice de-stresser...
Hmmm, that's a good point. She might need some hackers to build some heavy duty firewalls into her system to avoid getting hijacked (another fun thing that Ducard likes to do to people--he's really one of my more awful characters xD)
