Named after the song of Frollo (from the cartoon) - Hellfire.

the problem with this is that frollo didn't love wsmelrelda he lusted after her and would see her DEAD if she refused him... SNAPE on the other hand loved lilly with every fiberof his being but messed his chances up and made some bad choices. He went to dumbldore and asked him to protect lilly but in the end she was still killed... Even though lilly choe someone else snape never wanted her dead and her death shattered him.
Frollo is a lustfull ass...
Snape is just a broken hearted ass... But we love him.

Their situations were not identical, just similar. But the choice they made themselves. And yes, Snape did noble and became a hero. Frollo was the villain.
But I am equally fascinated by both the characters and see the resemblance, albeit with many differences.

we like frollo because he was a good villan... We like snape because any girl in her right mind likes a good chara who acts like an ass when in reality he has a heart renching background and is actualy one of the bests good guys in the world...

It's interesting how both characters gave their love interest an impossible choice. Frollo told Esmeralda to be with him or burn. Snape wanted Lily to stay with him even though he fully intended to become a Death Eater which would involve killing Muggles and Muggleborns. And obviously, she wouldn't be able to stop any of this if she was with him.
Probably the difference between the two of them is that Snape did realise that isn't the best way to win somebody.
