"... I thought you weren't coming back."
"...You're not getting rid of me that easily 'Mis. You're stuck with me whether you like it or not."
"And I wouldn't want it any other way."
"Of course you wouldn't! Your life woudln't be complete without my boyish good looks and undeniable charm."
"... You're still sleeping on the couch for three days."
"And to think I almost beleived I was off the hook."

So yeah I have this headcanon where Dick and Artemis leave eachother random little presents when the other is feeling down. Well one day Artemis comes home from college extremely stressed due college related things and Dick, being the amazing guy that he is, leaves a present on their table when she gets back. Inside is a Nightwing themed nightgown (except she jokes about how they got his symble wrong) with a note saying that now she'll have something to remind her of him whenever he's gone. Needless to say it makes her laugh and it just becomes an inside joke whenever they buy eachother anything related to their hero identity. Well since Dick is still leading the team, he often has to go on missions. Artemis, though she'll never admit it, always worries over him even though she knows that he's capable of taking care of himself. To calm herself down, she usually puts on the nightgown he had gotten her and sleeps in it. She never tells Dick directly about her fear of him never coming home, but, being the detective he is, he notices it and, though he never says it outload for her sake, he always makes sure she knows he will come home.
I really wanted to write a story based on this, but unfortunately I just can't seem to get their personalities down. I wouldn't do them justice. I may try to do it one of these days but I don't know. Maybe if people would like a story to go with it. Anway I'll shut up now lol!
