That whole part with the Sun Crashing in 3 days, I can't help but be reminded of in Sonic Heroes Team Sonic Story, where Eggman is like "In 3 days I will rule the world" and Sonic and co have to stop him.

You can have a get-together to pop some drinks and laugh at how bad 2006 is. Forces, just makes me wanna scream at the next fool at Sega for retconning shit AGAIN, lazily program a game that I can't even enjoy without it's shit controls playing for me or screw me with heavy jumps and false advertise it to be some epic story when it's a disjointed bad parody joke written by the same idiots who wrote Colors/Lost World and thought they were remotely funny.

Because the plots we're so painfully simple but to be fair, other Sonic games plots post-Unleashed have been nothing more than cringe.

Sonic Unleashed. It was actually the first Sonic game I completed on multiple platforms. That, and it looked amazing back then.

It did and looking back after seeing several cringy, poorly designed/written train wreck games after Unleashed, I can forgive the Werehog concept. At least it had depth and originality in it's design. Just a bit dragged in padding is what became the problem but looking at how PATHETICALLY SHORT Forces is, I'll take the Werehog over that crap any day.
