Description Critique please...
I have been trying to do something else with my coloring/lineart.
I've tried a couple of tutorials.

Any tips? Anything else I can fix?

Rose I just wanted to say the improvement you've shown is amazing. When I originally started following you, it was mainly because you were one of the "popular" kids. Now I stay just to marvel at how far you've come. You're not perfect, but you're getting closer every time.

As for the critique, there are a few things that stand out the most to me.

Hair
You've got two kinds of styles going on here, but they don't necessarily match with each other. The way the hair is drawn is very cartoon like, and the way the hair is colored is more realistic, with the individual strands, etc. It's good that you're trying to incorporate the fact that hair isn't a giant blob of color, but you need to think about how hair moves when you're trying to fill it in. This can be easily identified over on the left side of her hair where the pieces from all the different directions start to meet. It's very stiff and not as fluid as hair should be, and it doesn't really match how the hair is drawn in the line art. If you'd rather stick with the cartoon method of outlining the hair, I'd suggest more of a cell shading coloring method that picks up larger chunks, maybe with some little strands coming out of there. If you'd rather stick with the more detailed method, I suggest rather than outlining the hair along with the rest of the line art, draw the hair on top of all your coloring and lines without its own outline, and do all of the coloring on the same layer. This will help it be more full of life, and it's ok if there's strands all over the place, since that's just what hair does.

Neck/Collarbone
Again I know you're trying to do more of a cartoon style, so having a thin neck is ok, however the way it connects to the rest of the head seems a little unnatural, even for a cartoon. I suggest mapping out the entire head as well as the neck when you do your sketching, just so you can see how it's all connected without hair. This means not just drawing a circle with the face guidelines, but draw the whole thing, ear, forehead, neck, jawline, etc. You can still make it cartoony, but mapping out the entire thing will make it all flow better.
On the collarbone, it seems a little out of place the way it's placed here. It should be a little lower, and straight across. If you feel your collarbone, you'll notice that's it's pretty much entirely straight.

Face/Features
I like your eye style and coloring, the only thing I have to mention is that it doesn't seemed properly aligned on her head. I think it's just tilted a little too much.
I like that you tried to do the under eyelid, but the way her eyelashes come out it makes it look like there's a little droopy bit of white coming out of each corner. Just make the eyelid go all the way across to fix that. Make sure the mouth isn't too far down, and don't forget to add definition to the nose while coloring!

Coloring Overall
The amount of shading you have is very minimal, and there doesn't seem to be a distinct light source. Keep that in mind when you're coloring. Also, don't be afraid to bring the color out away from the line art! There's so many little nooks and crannies creating depth and flow in your body, and they don't stand out if you don't highlight them. I think you should stay with cell shading though, with blending. I suggest the water tool.

Picture Overall
It's very simple, and it seems to just be mainly a way to practice on a couple different techniques, so I don't have much to say about the artistic design, therefore I'm giving three stars in all of the categories, since it's neither good nor bad. I like the line art, it's very smooth and there isn't a lot of choppiness which is nice. Remember what I said about how it incorporates to coloring, though. Also, I think coloring your line art will be a nice touch. If you don't know how to do this, it's very simple, and I'm sure you could find some tutorials around here or YouTube.

I hope this was useful to you, and sorry if it's too long, I tried to space it out so it would be easier to look at ;^^ Keep on drawing!

Haha, random, but thank you xD I don't write them often, but when I do I try my best to make sure that they're thorough.

Well let's see....
This is a tutorial on pixel hair, but it works for just plain old cell shading...

This one still has lineart, but it has the same effect...

This shows the connection to the neck

Looks great to me. If I'm seeing this right the light is from the lower right corner, because that's what the shading looks like to me
