Description Okay. This one I started this morning (yesturday) and finished at 12:30 tonight (thismorning). She's biting her lip by the way - if you can't tell.

I wanted my pencil strokes to be revealed in this. I wanted to draw something large scale and exposed. It made me a little uncomfortable, but I feel good about what was acomplished. Her neck was challenging because of the strange position. don't usually spend so much time on a mouth. I learned a lot from this drawing.

I drew the hair in layers. I used a H2 I think to start with then kept darkening and leaving gaps. It did take a little while and a LOT of sharpenning of my B6 pencil

Thanks! The clothing was fun. I put cross hatching down, then smuged it all then ran my eraser across it in different patterns. Fun and very quick : )

The neck is just perfect with the shades and tones. It looks very realistic. And you pulled off a hard really hard angle, and you did it beautifully. And another shirt too (I thought these were banned)~ it looks really great I love how her eyes just paralyzes you. Wonderful shades, and great contrast in the hair.
I can see, that the thing with the lip and the teeth has been mentioned, so I wont.

Well thank you very much kind one : ) The shirt was the easiest thig. Kind of fun. If I can do clothes like this I will. It was just cross hatching, smudging and running the eraser across it. Easy!!!

Well thanks! Yah. I kinda was dissapointed. I thought this would be a project. I do draw fast. It annoying sometimes. I want stuff to last longer. Oh well. I get more stuff out this way.

Hey Ladyshawn. She is um..........so.........scary looking! almost disturbing!! I think its her eyes....they are so piercing! I love the way you have drawn them though. I can see that she is biting her lip, but maybet would have looked more realistic if her teeth were actually 'over' her lip on the left hand side. sort of, maybe....oh I dont know, im no expert!! Anyway, her neck is perfect. Well done, another superb piece of art to add to your collection!

Thanks! I did think about the lip thing - but the picture I took it from had it looking like this. See I should have taken my advise (which I USUALLY do) and drawn it like I thought more than like the photo. Oh well. Always next time. : )
