Prepared May 26th, 2010This was made for a challenge at a LiveJournal bento community I belong to. The theme was Pac-Man, since it's the 30th anniversary of.
This was fun - I had no all out plan other than Pac-Man would be made out of the cheese that I got to do a different charaben this week. I had NO idea what I was going to make the ghosts out of....

-Rice w/Pepper & Garlic Chives (under the nori)
-Provolone Pac-Man (dyed with a yellow food color pen)
-Tomato Ghosts (with kamaboko eyes)
-Cheddar Dots
-Blanched Green Beans
-Tomato Halves on Lemon Pick
-Radish
-Steamed Broccoli

I'd kind of been staying away from, because my first one was a bit of a disaster. That was over a year ago, though, and this was simple enough to give it another go.

A lot of people recommend doing sketches, so that you have a plan. I'm waaaay to ADD, and I can't make that work - but it seems to work for a lot of other people.
Have you ever checked out Anna the Red's blog? It might get you inspired.

hmm i never thought about that, i mean i can see making lists of what will be what and all though.
no i've never heard of it. i haven't really thought much about decoration bento because when i still have classes it's hard to find the time, but summer starts in a couple of weeks so i can try it then!
