Tracks and Raoul from Transformers. Done as a sort of celebration of the end of university for another semester, and because there's not nearly enough of this pairing out there.

I've also decided that I'm going to teach myself how to draw mechs/transformers; properly. As it is, there is so much wrong with this, especially with Tracks's proportions, but considering it's the first time I've ever seriously attempted to draw a G1 transformer, I'm pretty happy with it.

Beware Raoul's fashion sense. Seriously... If the jacket and orange shirt don't make it, then the mullet certainly does.

Method for this particular drawing...

Get a sudden flash of inspiration when listening to Sting's song 'My Funny Friend and Me' from the Emperor's New Groove soundtrack.

Spend the next ten minutes in a mad sketching frenzy.

Spend the next three to four hours trying to get the characters actually looking right.

As you're colouring, wonder if Raoul is at all comfortable like that.

So yeah, they're having a quiet moment together, stargazing, as inspired by the song. And don't ask what happened to Raoul's belt or gloves. I realised they weren't on when I was colouring. XP
