Description This is an art trade with ~CronosGuy He wanted an illustration of Hiccup and Astrid flying on toothless, with Astrid not enjoying herself.


I often call this movie 'how to train your plotline' because it seems like a perfect example of how an animated film should be. Interesting characters, stunning animation, realistic problems coupled with fantastical subject matter; this film definitely makes my top 20.

This film made my top one. It's absolutely amazing.
And that definitely looks like a dragon where only the rider is enjoying himself, not the passenger and definitely not the poor, put-upon dragon.

Pretty sure he's touched a girl before. Hiccup is the sort who'd get bullied by every Viking going, of either gender.
That said, he's - what? Fifteen? Not bad for first time interacting with a girl in a "the difference is important" way.

There's a line in the Harry potter literal trailer, when Ron's pulling Hermione back that goes 'first time he touched a girl'. It's not a serious observation about hiccup. Just a joke. Nothing to take personally.
