I never meant for this to become so 'finished' because I didn't really like the lineart too much to begin with (it was good, but it wasn't my style... at all ^_^ ).What I intended to do was to draw a nice little picture with a fun, complex hairstyle that I could use for coloring practice. Gradually I started putting more and more detail into it until I came up with her.

Like you said, the line art isn't your "style" but it looks nice and it shows 'growth in new directions' to be corny... The detail in her eyes is great, if you hadn't said, i would have thought you were working on eyes, not hair!!! (if I didn't know that you were already awesome at eyes, mind you!) nice job, and I do likeys the hair!!!

I also think I've always been good at eyes, but these in particular are apparently standing out because of the rest of the drawing follows the same color scheme.
